Best Buy Employee Stole iPhones, Planned To Sell Them Online
WEST DUNDEE, Ill. (STMW) - A northwest suburban Best Buy employee is facing a felony retail theft charge after allegedly taking 10 iPhones and a Sprint Nextel phone from the store where he worked.
Isidro Estrada Jr., 22, of the 600 block of Gaslight Drive in Algonquin,was charged Dec. 4 with taking the phones from the West Dundee Best Buy, where he worked, police said.
According to police, he admitted to the theft and said he had intended to sell the phones through Facebook. Bond was set at $3,000, and he was given a Jan. 6 court date.
