Best ACT And SAT Prep In Chicago

For many high school students, taking the ACTs and SATs are among the first steps in preparing to apply to colleges and universities. Does your child need a boost when it comes to taking standardized tests? Through test prep courses, your child can learn test-taking techniques and other preparation methods. If you live near the College of DuPage, then your child can consider taking ACT test prep courses available through the college. The College of DuPage offers traditional in-person test prep courses, as well as online classes that can fit your child's busy schedule. Test strategies are also discussed during the courses. Do you plan to earn a degree, too? The College of DuPage also offers test prep for adults who plan to take the GRE, GMAT or LSAT. ACT prep classes are available at the College of DuPage's Glen Ellyn campus and at Naperville Center.

For some high school students, learning a few test strategies can make all the difference. Through the College of Lake County, high school students in grades 10 through 12 can prep for the ACT. College of Lake County has offered its ACT test prep courses at Grayslake and Southlake campuses. Courses are typically offered on Saturday mornings, and it is advised that students register in advance. College of Lake County also offers a number of courses for high school students and their families to take together, including sewing, conversational Spanish, German and Italian, and online video game making.

Located in the Morgan Park neighborhood of Chicago, Connections Learning Center offers test prep courses for both the ACT and SAT through seven-week programs. Programs are limited to five students for the center's ACT test prep course, so consider registering in advance for the course. The center can help students with dyslexia, anxiety, learning disabilities and other issues, too. In addition, Connections Learning Center offers test prep courses for the GRE, GED and other exams.

Is your child ready to take the ACT? With Span Test Prep, high school students can practice taking the ACT and receive help specific to their individual needs. Tutoring sessions are taught by veteran high school teachers and are taught in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The upcoming winter session starts in December, and includes both classroom meetings and one-on-one tutoring sessions. Session dates are also available for spring and summer in 2016. Whatever It Takes Test Prep

Through the University of Chicago organization Whatever It Takes, high school students in the area can receive free test preparation skills for both the ACT and the SAT. Each test prep takes place over 10 weeks, and the winter session starts in January 2016. Located in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood, the test prep is taught by University of Chicago undergraduate students and is open for high school students in the city and suburbs. Students will need to purchase a textbook for the program.
