Berwyn Bank Robbery Was Man's Second Heist In Two Months
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man robbed a bank for the second time in less than two months Wednesday afternoon in west suburban Berwyn.
He made off with an unspecified amount of cash about 5:30 p.m. from the Chase Bank branch at 6532 W. Cermak Road, according to the FBI.
The same man is also suspected of holding up the Huntington Bank branch at 4012 N. Pulaski Road on Chicago's Northwest Side on Sept. 1. Both robberies were described as "non-takeover," authorities said.
He is described as a thin man in his 40s or early 50s, about 5-foot-4 with a dark complexion. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, black sunglasses, black hat and jeans along with a dark-colored bag in Wednesday's robbery.
Anyone with information should call the FBI at (312) 421-6700.
