Bergeron Not At Bruins Morning Skate, But Julien 'Confident He'll Play'
BOSTON (CBS) – Boston Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron did not participate in the team's morning skate on Monday, but head coach Claude Julien is "confident" one of his top playmakers will play in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final.
"Patrice will dress for warm-ups and I'm feeling confident he'll play," Julien said Monday morning shortly after Boston's practice wrapped up.
Bergeron is listed as "day-to-day" after leaving Saturday's Game 5 loss in Chicago with what the team is calling a "body" injury, though many speculate it could be an issue with his spleen. He was taken to a Chicago hospital during the game, but was discharged and flew home with the team Sunday morning.
