Bennett Out For Bears
(WSCR) - Earl Bennett missed practice this week with an ankle injury and is still unable to play against the Packers Sunday afternoon.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Bears wide receiver Earl Bennett is inactive with an ankle injury for Chicago's game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
Bennett missed practice with the injury this week, but was the only regulars missing for the Bears, who have locked up a first-round bye in the playoffs. Nick Roach is also starting at linebacker in place of Pisa Tinoisamoa.
Green Bay will clinch a postseason berth with a win and are again missing starting linebacker Frank Zombo (knee), a position where they're already without Nick Barnett, Brandon Chillar and Brady Poppinga for the rest of the season.
The Packers are also missing safety Atari Bigby and defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins.
