Bears Won't Change For Playoffs
Most things this season have gone the way the Bears wanted. But the offensive performance in the regular season finale wasn't the way a team wants to enter the playoffs.
Despite that poor performance, the Bears don't see any need for panic.
"No, we're not fixing anything," Jay Cutler said when asked if the offense had a lot to fix heading into the playoffs. "We're going to run our offense exactly how we've been running it. We took a look at the film [from Sunday], learned from it, corrected the mistakes we have to correct. But we're not changing anything."
Since their regular season bye week, the Bears have been a much different offensive unit. They've gameplanned for teams better, and shown a more balanced attack.
While Mike Martz won't give the players the gameplan until the Wednesday before the game, the players already have faith it will be a gameplan they can win with.
"I think the guys have a very good belief in what we're doing," Cutler said. "And they understand why we do it."
