UPDATE: Bears-Vikings Game Will Be Played In Minneapolis
UPDATE: The Bears-Vikings game will be played at TCF Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota.
(WSCR) - The Vikings last home game was in Detroit, and was against the New York Giants. The game was moved to Ford Field because the Metrodome's roof collapsed under the pressure of a massive snow fall over the weekend.
While there's a chance the Metrodome might not be ready for the Bears-Vikings Monday night game, the Vikings are committed to keeping the game in Minneapolis.
The Vikings are working diligently with the University of Minnesota and the NFL on preparing TCF Bank Stadium in the event that Mall of America Field at the Metrodome will not be ready for Monday night's Bears-Vikings game. Their cooperation has been tremendous.
The Vikings are committed to ensuring a home game in Minnesota for our fans.
