Bears To Try Out Offensive Tackle Goldberg
(CBS) The Bears quest to solidify their offensive line continues with a free-agent visit from tackle Adam Goldberg.
Reports indicate Goldberg, 31, has a tryout scheduled with the Bears. He has been with the Rams since 2006, but he broke into the NFL in 2003 under current Bears offensive coordinator Mike Tice and the Vikings as an undrafted free agent from Wyoming.
Under Tice, Goldberg went from the practice squad that first season to starting 12 games at right tackle in 2005.
The 6-foot-7, 305-pound tackle has played in every game over the past four season for the Rams and made 44 starts.
