Bears' Tillman Earns Defensive Player Of Week Honor
(WSCR) For the second time in three weeks, Bears cornerback Charles Tillman has earned Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Tillman shut down Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson on Monday night, holding the receiver to just three catches for 34 yards. Tillman also added two pass deflections and two forced fumbles in the Bears' win.
The 31-year-old Tillman was named Defensive Player of the Week in Week 5 after returning an interception for a touchdown against the Jaguars.
