Bears Sign S Troy Nolan
(WSCR) In an effort to strengthen their secondary, the Bears today signed safety Troy Nolan.
Nolan, 26, has appeared in 37 games with seven starts over four seasons with the Texans (2009-12) and Dolphins (2012).
Selected in the seventh round out of Arizona State by the Texans in 2009, Nolan has recorded 73 tackles, three interceptions, nine pass defenses, 1.5 sacks and a fumble recovery.
This season, Nolan has appeared in seven games with one start for Houston and Miami, recording five tackles.
