Bears Receiver Marquess Wilson Ruled Out Against 49ers
By Chris Emma--
(CBS) Bears receiver Marquess Wilson has been ruled out for Sunday's game with the 49ers after suffering a foot injury on the final play of Wednesday's practice.
Wilson is the fourth known injury this season in a Bears practice, along with receiver Alshon Jeffery, center Hroniss Grasu and safety Antrel Rolle. Both Jeffery and Rolle were injured in walk-through workouts. Like Wilson, Rolle was also injured in the final play of practice.
"I wish I could time it out that well," Bears coach John Fox joked.
With Wilson out, the Bears will likely utilize Josh Bellamy or Cameron Meredith in at his receiver spot. Wilson has 28 catches on the season and has played in all 11 games.
Quarterback Jay Cutler landed on the injury report with an illness, though his status is probable.
The Bears also listed Rolle as questionable as he continues to recovery from the knee injury suffered in practice prior to the game with the Broncos. Additionally, the team listed receiver Eddie Royal (knee) and defensive tackle Bruce Gaston (illness) as questionable, though both Rolle and Royal seem unlikely to play.
Kickoff between the Bears (5-6) and 49ers (3-8) comes on Sunday at noon from Soldier Field.
