Bears Preparing For Sinking Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings have had a rough season. While their hopes for the playoffs were slim before last week's game, the Vikings are know looked at in a much different way.
"I think we had a completely different picture of the Vikings before their game against the Giants," Dan Pompei said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "Tarvaris Jackson played a pretty good game the week before, played awfully on Monday night. And now we don't know who their quarterback is going to be."

There were high expectations in Minneapolis before the season started. Brett Favre was coming off of one of his better seasons, and the Vikings were positioned to make a run at the Super Bowl.
Things quickly went south, and ultimately led to head coach Brad Childress being fired.
"It looked like they were kind of revitalized by Les Frazier, they won their first two games under him. And now that buzz seems to have dissipated," Pompei said.
And to make matters worse for the Vikings, it appears as if they're without a home field.
"Their issues with not having a true home are a factor," Pompei said. "That Metrodome is a huge advantage to them, maybe the biggest advantage to that team than any team in the NFL. So you take that away, and you know, that's points maybe. Who knows, three points, six points? I don't know, it's significant though. So this is a different team than is was just a week ago."
