Bears' Offense Starting To Have Fun
The Bears' offense started the season slow, but since the bye week, and a change in philosophy was implemented, they've started to figure things out. Now the offense is rolling and they're starting to have fun doing it.
"These last two or three games have been fun offensively for us," said Jay Cutler. "You can tell the guys are understanding what we're doing. They're playing fast. They know exactly when they make mistakes. They know exactly when we miss opportunities, that's the good part about it. Guys come back to the huddle and they're aware that we just missed a big one."
Winning is fun, and that's exactly what the Bears have been doing over the last five games. The Bears are 5-0 dating back to November 7th, and over those five games the offense has grown significantly. It's the combination of wins and growth, that is making things fun for the offensive players.
"It's getting fun," Cutler said. "We're able to put more and more in and we're able to challenge guys more and more so it's been a fun ride here."
Hopefully that fun ride continues, because the players aren't the only ones enjoying this season.
A win over the Patriots would further establish the Bears as a top team in the NFL and bring them the national respect that they've been lacking.
