Bears Move Practice To High School After Lights Go Out
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. (CBS) -- The Chicago Bears had some more trouble getting practice in on Wednesday, when a power outage forced them to move practice to a nearby high school in Bourbonnais.
The Bears were in the middle of practice when the lights went out at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais on Wednesday. Practice continued for a while, until it became too dark to continue.
Then the team moved practice to nearby Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School.
The problem came less than a week after the Bears had to cancel their Family Fun Night practice at Soldier Field due to the poor field conditions on Friday. The Bears moved their practice to Bourbonnais the same night.
They have an afternoon practice scheduled for Thursday.
