Bears' Kevin White Listed As Questionable For Sunday's Game
By Chris Emma--
(CBS) Kevin White's scheduled regular-season debut on Sunday is now in question. The Bears receiver is listed as questionable for the game against the Texans with a hamstring injury, coach John Fox confirmed to reporters Friday at Halas Hall.
White first appeared on the injury report Thursday with a hamstring injury. He was listed as limited in practice, which could be an indicator that the injury occurred during practice. Fox declined to delve into details.
"Not being a surgeon or a doctor, they just tell me hamstring and that's what I report to you guys," Fox said.
Entering his second season in the NFL, White has yet to play in the regular season. He missed all of 2015 with a shin injury, which required surgery in August 2015. His attempt to return later in the season didn't come to fruition.
The "questionable" designation is now the most promising of the injury report listings, with the NFL implementing a new policy this season which removed the "probable" tag. Thus, Fox listed each of the Bears' injured players as questionable to play.
Bears guard Kyle Long is questionable to play due to a shoulder injury, though he has practiced with the team during the week. Cornerback Kyle Fuller is questionable with a knee injury as he continues to return from a knee scope three weeks ago.
Kickoff between the Bears and Texans comes Sunday at noon from NRG Stadium in Houston.
