Bears' Hester Close To Selling His Mansion
(CBS) Bears return specialist Devin Hester has a contract pending to sell his mansion in Riverwoods, the Chicago Tribune reported Wednesday.
The seven-bedroom mansion is about 10,000 square feet, and it's listed for just less than $2 million, the Tribune reported. Hester bought it for $2.2 million in 2008 and had initially listed it at $2.625 million before gradually dropping the price, the report said.
Hester is the NFL's all-time in return touchdowns. He is also a pending free agent, and his future with the Bears is uncertain.
"When he bought it...he was single and he loved the private location, loved the size, and loved everything about it,'" listing agent Lori Progar of Coldwell Banker told the Tribune. "Now, he is married with a family and he ... has a floor plan and house style that suits their family needs better."
