Bears Have Work To Do During Bye Week
The Bears ended the season at 11-5, and winners of the NFC North division. As a result, they were awarded the number two-seed in the NFC and a first round bye. One of the advantages of that bye is a week to rest and address weaknesses.
"I think rest and you're doing a little bit of work on the field," Brad Biggs said on the Mully and Hanley Show when asked how the Bears would spend this week. "You don't have to go hard, but there's certainly some things that they need to address and take a look at, and get a handle on."

One of these weaknesses was addressed earlier this season in the team's regular season bye. The Bears made adjustments to their offensive line play, and won seven of their last nine games. But it seems as if some of those adjustments might have been temporary.
"The offensive line, the pressure that they dealt with against the Packers," Biggs said, "or didn't deal with would be a better way to put it, they need to look at that."
However, it's not just the offensive lien that needs work if the Bears want to make a deep run into the playoffs.
"Obviously in the secondary they need to review the big passes they allowed Aaron Rogers and some other big plays they gave up over the last three or four ball games, and how they can tighten that up," Biggs said. "So work has to be done."
