Bears Have More To Fight For
Now that the Bears have clinched the NFC North, and a spot it the playoffs, there will inevitably be people wanting them to pull back and rest some players. But the Bears still have more to play for.
"I believe you have to fight to the end," Dan Pompei said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "It's football, you have to compete, and certainly right now you're playing for home field advantage still."

The Atlanta Falcons are in the drivers seat in the NFC right now to take home field for the playoffs. But as long as there's a chance, the Bears need to keep playing hard.
"There's a slim chance," Pompei said. "But there's still a chance the Bears could get home field advantage throughout the entire playoffs. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but you have to approach it as it's a possibility. And the other thing is they have a chance at getting a first round bye."
