Bears' Harris Not As Optimistic About Lockout Ending Soon
CHICAGO (WSCR) As reports continue to pile up in favor of the NFL lockout ending soon, one Chicago Bear isn't so sure.
Safety Chris Harris joined The Boers and Bernstein Show Tuesday on 670 The Score and expressed skepticism about those reports because the sources are all on one side of the negotiations.
"I don't know if it is as close as everyone is reporting because everything that is being reported is coming from an NFL source, from a league source," he said. "Nothing reported has come from the NFLPA side so I don't know how much to read into that."

Harris has made plenty of comments about the lockout on Twitter (@ChrisHarrisNFL) recently and it is quite obvious he is tired of sitting around and not playing football.
"I'm hoping we don't miss any regular season games and we can get this thing resolved because we all want to play football," Harris said. "At the end of the day, that's all we want to do, is get back out there on the field and play. And the fans as well want to see us play."
Still, while all the players want to get back to work, Harris said they know how important this deal is for the future of the NFL and they aren't willing to accept any deal just so they can play football sooner.
"Of course we all just want to play football but we definitely have to get the right deal in place in order for us to play football," he said.
Harris also said he is in favor of a rookie wage scale and said that while many players are staying in shape during the lockout, it is impossible to be in "football shape" without actually playing football.
