Bears' Goldman Questionable Against Giants; Massie, Unrein Doubtful

By Chris Emma--

(CBS) Bears coach John Fox announced Friday that second-year nose tackle Eddie Goldman would be questionable for Sunday's contest with the Giants.

After missing six weeks with an ankle injury, Goldman returned for the Bears' loss to the Buccaneers last Sunday. However, he left the field late in the game with an apparent injury in which he aggravated the ankle. After missing two practices this week, he worked in a limited fashion Friday.

Goldman had a sack in his return to the field. His presence Sunday would be especially beneficial with defensive end Mitch Unrein listed as doubtful as he battles a back injury. The Bears also shut down backup nose tackle Will Sutton this season with an ankle injury.

The Bears have listed right tackle Bobby Massie as doubtful for the game. Massie is still in the concussion protocol. Backup Mike Adams would assume Massie's place Sunday, lining up next to Kyle Long's replacement at guard, Ted Larsen.

Rookie cornerback Deiondre' Hall has been listed as doubtful as he recovers from an ankle injury.

Cormerback Bryce Callahan (hamstring), linebacker Pernell McPhee (knee), cornerback Tracy Porter (knee), receiver Eddie Royal (toe), guard Josh Sitton (ankle), receiver Marquess Wilson (foot) and linebacker Willie Young (ankle) are all listed as questionable.

Kickoff between the Bears and Giants comes at noon CT on Sunday from Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.
