Bears' Eddie Goldman Is Active Against Bucs

TAMPA, Fla. (CBS) -- Bears nose tackle Eddie Goldman will play his first game since Week 2 as the team has ruled him active for Sunday's contest with the Buccaneers.
Goldman suffered an ankle sprain during the Bears' second game, a loss to the Eagles. It initially appeared to be severe, as the second-year player was carted off. However, he rehabbed during the last six weeks and used the bye week to heal up.
The Bears have admitted that Goldman isn't 100 percent just yet.
"As long as I can contribute to the team and bring what I can to the table, then that'll be the most I can do -- give what I can," Goldman said earlier in the week.
Bears receiver Eddie Royal is active. Cornerback Bryce Callahan is inactive as he continues to battle a hamstring injury.
Inactives for the Bears also include Deiondre' Hall, John Timu, Eric Kush, Daniel Brown and Mitch Unrein.
Buccaneers running back Doug Martin is active. He will play his first game since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 2. Former Bears running back Jacquizz Rodgers, now with Tampa Bay, is inactive.
Kickoff between the Bears and Bucs comes at noon CT from Raymond James Stadium.
