LAKE FOREST, Ill. (CBS) -- Once again, the Bears made the move up for a player they so desired. Chicago jumped up four spots in the fourth round, drafting West Virginia linebacker Nick Kwiatkosi with the 113th pick in the NFL Draft on Saturday.
"I play hard-nosed linebacker," Kwiatkoski said. "I like to hit, I like to be physical. But I'm also versatile."
In making the move, the Bears dealt their 117th pick (fourth round) and 206th pick (sixth round) to the Rams.
Kwiatkoski, 6-foot-2, 243-pounder, was an All-Big 12 player with West Virginia. He recorded 86 tackles in 2015 and was the Mountaineers' top defensive player.
"I feel like I bring versatility and linebacker instincts," Kwiatkoski said.
The Bears made their fourth trade of the draft to take Kwiatkoski. At the time of their selection, they had two fourth-round selections still available, plus picks in the fifth, sixth and seventh round.
