Bears Could Target OL, DL Or DB With First Pick In Draft

CHICAGO (WSCR) The NFL Draft is a week away, and while we still don't know if there will be a 2011 season, we do know that the Chicago Bears have a lot of needs to address, and right now only have six picks to do so.

Their first of six picks falls at the end of Round 1, the 29th overall pick. It's likely that general manager Jerry Angelo will be looking to add picks to the Bears' draft by trading down, but there are a few players that the Bears would gladly have at 29th overall.

"The players that could be there: Derek Sherrod, an offensive tackle from Mississippi State; Nate Solder, an offensive tackle from Colorado," Greg Gabriel, of NationalFootballPost.com, said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "Those are two offensive linemen that could be there.

"They could also go defensive back if there's a good defensive back there. You have a player like Aaron Williams, from Texas, who can play corner and safety, that might be a guy they like.

"On the defensive [line] side, Muhammad Wilkerson, a defensive tackle from Temple, could be there at that spot. After that I think they could be looking to trade down."
