John Fox Manages Expectations Heading Into Tough Opening Schedule
CHICAGO (CBS) -- As the Bears prepare for a big early season test against the rival Green Bay Packers on Sunday, coach John Fox is offering no bold promises or predictions.
"Everybody's goal this time of year is to win your division,'' he told WBBM's Josh Liss on Wednesday. "If you look at our early schedule, it's pretty rough.
"I am looking at how we play and how we execute. One thing about it being a tough early schedule, is we will find out where we are and adjust in ways that convert to wins.
"I have always been of the thought: understate and over produce."
