Bears Announce Preseason Schedule, Will Play Rams In HOF Game
Assuming that there is a 2011 NFL preseason, the Chicago Bears have officially released their expected opponents.
The Bears will open their preseason schedule by playing the St. Louis Rams in the annual Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. The nationally televised game will take place on Sunday, August 7 at 7PM (CST).
The game will take place one day after former Bear Richard Dent and six others are enshrined into the NFL Hall of Fame.
The Bears will play a second nationally televised game at 7PM (CST) on August 22, when they travel to New York and take on the Giants.
They'll also host the the Buffalo Bills (August 11-14) and the Cleveland Browns (September 1-4), and visit the Tennessee Titans (August 25-28), exact date and times will be released at a later date.
The regular season schedule will be released in the coming weeks, but in addition to their home and away games with their NFC North opponents, the Bears will host the Falcons, Panthers, Seahawks, Chiefs and Chargers; and visit the Saints, Buccaneers, Eagles, Broncos and Raiders.
