Bears Agree To Terms With Gabe Carimi
(CBS) The Bears announced Friday that they have agreed to terms with first round draft pick Gabe Carimi.
There had been some concern that a disagreement between teams and agents of late first round picks was developing over guaranteed money and that Carimi might not be signed by the time the Bears took the field in Bourbonnais Saturday.
The details of the contract have yet to be announced.
Carimi was a four-year starter at left tackle at the University of Wisconsin before the Bears selected him 29th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft. Many project him to be a right tackle at the NFL level, but he could get a shot to play on the left side.
The Bears have agreed to terms with all of their 2011 draft picks.
