Bears Agree To Terms With Bennett On Extension
(CBS) According to a report from The Score's Zach Zaidman, the Bears have agreed to terms on a four-year deal with wide receiver Earl Bennett.
League sources indicate the deal is for $18 million with $9 million guaranteed.
Bennett potentially could have gotten more money had he tested the free-agent market after the season, but he said there was only one place he wanted to play.
"This is home to me," Bennett told The Boers and Bernstein Show just after signing his new deal. "The Chicago Bears drafted me. When they came to me, I told them they were going to have first dibs whenever my (rookie) contract was up. I'm just excited to be in Chicago for four more years."

Bennett was drafted in the third round, 70th overall, by the Bears in the 2008 NFL draft.
Through three seasons with the Bears, Bennett has caught 118 passes for 1,554 yards with six touchdowns.
This season, he's caught 18 passes for 276 yards and a touchdown in six games.
"It's about taking advantage of your opportunities and making the best of it," Bennett said. "I told myself once I got the chance to show the coaches that I deserve to play in this league, I was going to prove a lot of people wrong who said that I couldn't. I just wanted to go out each game and continue to get better and just help the team win."
