ST. CHARLES, Ill. (CBS) -- A 19-year old Batavia man cooling his heels in the Kane County Jail, because of two weekend parties at his house and an attempt to escape from police custody on top of it.
As WBBM Newsradio's Bernie Tafoya reports, police showed up to the home of Andrew Pederson, of the 800 block of Pottawatomie Trail in Batavia, shortly after midnight this past Saturday morning following calls of a loud party, according to the Kane County Chronicle.

Pederson and 20 others were cited for underage drinking, and Pederson was also charged with hosting an unlawful residential gathering, the Kane County Chronicle reported.
The newspaper says less than 24 hours later, police were back at the Pederson's home for the same reason – another party with more underage drinking. Pederson and three others were charged that time, the Chronicle reports.
The three 18-year-olds at the Sunday party – Lydia Scoaro, Alvaro Velazquez, and Kristi A. Smith, only received tickets for underage drinking, and nine others at the party passed a blood alcohol test, the Chronicle reported.
But Pederson was arrested and thrown in the back of a police car, and it still wasn't over for him. Pederson forced his way out of the police vehicle after he was arrested.
But police caught him soon afterward, and slapped him with additional charges of criminal damage to state-supported property, escaping from a police officer, and obstructing or resisting a police officer, the Chronicle reported.
