Barber Expected To Make Season Debut; Harris Could Miss 2 Games
(CBS) Bears running back Marion Barber is expected to make his debut Sunday against the Panthers, while Earl Bennett (chest) and Gabe Carimi (knee) were officially ruled out.
But the news could be much worse for strong safety Chris Harris.
Despite being listed as questionable, the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs reports that not only will Harris miss Sunday's game, but he will also miss next week's game against the Lions, if not more.
Harris' hamstring continues to be an issue. He has already missed two games.
Meanwhile, tight end Matt Spaeth (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday. Kahlil Bell (back), Patrick Mannelly (hip) and Major Wright (head/neck) are all probable.
