Banner Plane Flies Over Penn State: 'Take Down The Statue Or We Will'
(WSCR) Evidently, one group near State College, Pa., knows exactly what it wants to happen to the Joe Paterno statue that rests outside of Beaver Stadium.
According to reports, a banner plane flew over the home of Penn State football on Tuesday morning with a banner that read: "Take down the statue or we will."
Since the release of the Freeh report last week, which showed Paterno showed "callous and shocking disregard for child victims" of Jerry Sandusky, the Penn State Board of Trustees has debated what to do with the statue adorning Paterno.
