Bank Robbed In Alsip
ALSIP, Ill. (STMW) -- A man around 50 years old robbed a bank branch Monday morning in south suburban Alsip.
The man entered the TCF Bank branch at 12001 S. Pulaski Rd. at 11:41 p.m. and handed a teller a note implying he had a weapon and demanding money, according to an Alsip police release.
The teller gave the robber less than $500, and he ran away southbound on foot, the release said.
The suspect is described as a 6-foot, 300-pound black with freckles on his face, the release said. He was last seen wearing a yellow hat, and gray and red sweatshirt.
The FBI is offering a reward for information leading to his arrest. Anyone with information should call the FBI at (312) 421-6700.
