Opelka says the only thing better than winter chill for boosting underground Pedway business is a heavy drenching rain.
Opelka says the sub-freezing temperatures have boosted the foot-traffic, the number of people with musical requests along with his revenues which are up about 50 percent.
Opelka says he turned to music three years ago when the recession killed his architectural restoration business, repairing weather worn stone and woodwork.
He says the restoration business paid more than providing street music, but the guitar and harmonica are more fun.
