Police say 21-year-old Ronald Phipps of Aurora tried to steal the shovel and punched the man in the face twice and that Phipps then drove away to another street in Aurora, where he hit a 71-year-old man in the chest and stole the snowblower he'd been using.

Aurora Police caught up with Phipps. He's being held on $150,000 bond.
