The child was able to lead deputies back to his aunt's house around the corner in the 0-99 block of Sonora Drive, the release said. Police allege the child had been left alone and that Burgess, his aunt who was supposed to be watching him, left the residence.
Burgess was arrested when she returned to the hose about half an hour later. Police arrested her, and the little boy was turned over to the care of his grandmother.
