Arrest In Frankfort Square Robbery, Kidnapping
CHICAGO (CBS) -- One person is in custody and police are searching for two others in the abduction and robbery of a woman in Frankfort Square.
Chavell Anderson is being held on a $1 million bond on armed robbery charges. Two other suspects, Dorian Yamani and Aaron Anderson, remain at large. Arrest warrants were issued for both men.
Police said the 70-year-old woman was in her driveway at 10 p.m. Monday in the 8200 block of Chestnut Drive when she was called over to a car two driveways down.
One of three men in the car pulled a gun and ordered the woman into the back of the car, a four-door gray sedan, according to police. They said one of the men took the woman's car keys and stole her car, which was later recovered.
The two remaining men drove around with the woman for about an hour, with the men asking the woman how much money she had, and they also tried to use her ATM card at an ATM, police said.
They said the robbers let her out of the car, and she walked to a nearby gas station in Country Club Hills, where she reported the incident to a police officer.
