Armed Man Forces Woman Into His Car And Rapes Her
CHICAGO (STMW) - A woman reported to police Tuesday that she was raped late Monday after a man with a handgun forced her into his car on the South Side.
The man — described as black and in his 30s — displayed a handgun and forced the 40-year-old victim into his car about 11 p.m. Monday in the 5900 block of South Carpenter Street, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien said.
He then drove to an alley in the 6800 block of South Carpenter, where he raped her inside the car. She reported the rape Tuesday and was in fair condition at Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, O'Brien said.
A more detailed description of the man was not available Tuesday afternoon. His vehicle was described as a green four-door sedan.
