Arkush: Super Bowl 'Seemed Like A Sloppy, Mid-Season Game'
(WSCR) One day after Eli Manning and the Giants took home their second Super Bowl in four years, one NFL expert wasn't pleased with what he saw.
Despite the Giants' come-back victory, Hub Arkush said things could have been better.
"I know the feeling in the press box really right until the end was kind of, 'OK, they're out there. They're trading punches.' I don't know that we saw the signature moment, certainly the Manningham catch on the sideline was a great play," Arkush told The McNeil and Spiegel Show. "You had a feeling the way the momentum of the game was going that was going to happen. ... It didn't feel like a great game. Even at the ending, the Patriots let the Giants score. Then, they missed on a Hail Mary. It seemed like a sloppy, mid-season game."
