Arkush: Offensive Lines Were The Biggest Difference
The Bears were beat, and beat badly by the New England Patriots. The most glaring issue the Bears had was that the Patriots' offense could do pretty much whatever it wanted. The Patriots' offensive line, among other things, lead to the lopsided score.
"[The Bears] ran into a much better football team," Hub Arkush said on the Danny Mac Show. "It would be nice if there was a different way to spin it. But the bottom line is that the New England Patriots are in a completely different class than the Chicago Bears, and I think it showed [on Sunday]."

The Bears were coming off of five consecutive wins, and that changed the perception of them around Chicago, and perhaps around the league. The Bears' weaknesses were probably overlooked during that five game stretch, probably most of all the offensive line.
"If you want to look at specifics, "Arkush said. "The one thing, I know we talked about [last week], and I really think that it's the starting point to analyzing the game. That was the best offensive line they've seen all year. It's probably the best offensive line they will see this year."
The differences in the offensive lines reflect the obvious differences in the two offenses.
"The New England offense does whatever they want. The Chicago Bears offense does what it can scheme and what it can get away with, in spite of it's offensive line," Arkush said. "There's a lot of differences between these two teams, but to me that's that's clearly the biggest difference."
