Arkush: Hanie Isn't Even A No. 2
(WSCR) Until he took the field as a starter, most thought Caleb Hanie was an adequate back-up quarterback.
Since he's taken over for an injured Jay Cutler, Hanie has struggled, throwing six interceptions with two touchdowns as the Bears have lost three-straight games.
One NFL analyst knew what Hanie was all along.
"I've thought this is what he is for the last two or three years," Hub Arkush told The McNeil and Spiegel Show. "I never understood why he was on the football team, quite frankly. Then I thought that, as a No. 3, maybe they've got somebody that they're developing. But when they went into this season with him as the No. 2, I was taken aback."
