Aramis Ramirez Back on Track for the Cubs
Aramis Ramirez is hitting .213 on the season, through the first two months he was hitting well below .200 and looked completely uncomfortable at the plate. He missed 15 games in June do to thumb injury that was probably making his early season slump last longer than it would have otherwise. Although while it appears as if Ramirez's thumb is still not 100%, he has begun to regain his offensive ability in a big way.In the 13 games Ramirez has played in the month of July he has been arguably as good as anyone in baseball. Over the course of this month Ramirez is hitting .346 with a dominating 1.151 OPS and has hit 5 HRs and driven in 14 RBI.His July numbers are much more reflective of what Cubs fans have come to expect compared to the numbers he posted for the first three months of the season (.179 Avg, 6 HR and 23RBI in 53 games).
