Apple Unveils iPhone 7
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Apple held Wednesday its big unveil event presenting updates for their major devices.
The event announced the coming of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, as well as new features to the Apple Watch.
Apple CEO, Tim Cook said "it's the best iPhone that we have ever created," but Chicagoans had some disagreements with that statement, CBS 2's Vince Gerasole reports.
The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus have eliminated its headphone jack in efforts to make a phone that is water resistant. New earbuds and an adaptor will be included with the purchase of the phone.

"Its a new advancement," said Alex Prince, Lincoln Park. "I gotta buy all new headphones I guess...we don't have a choice really, we have to get it."
In this ever connecting world, users are told adapting is a part of high tech practicality.
"They have such a big market share, it's almost guaranteed," said Jeff DeNapoli, Lapin Systems.
The iPhone remains as Apple's largest producer of revenue and profit, but sales have declined a bit recently with competition from companies like Samsung.
Wednesday's presentation was meant to pump up enthusiasm for the phone and the thought of buying new headphones.
