Man Killed In Apparent Hit-And-Run In Humboldt Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was killed in an apparent hit-and-run collision in the Humboldt Park neighborhood Friday night.
The victim was found unresponsive on the street along the 1500 block of North Spaulding Avenue at about 11:10 p.m. Friday, police said.
Preliminary reports indicated the man was struck in a hit-and-run accident, police said. The victim, who remained unidentified Saturday morning, was believed to be in his 40s.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
The police Major Accident Investigation Unit was investigating the his death.
