AP Source: Titans QB Locker Released From Hospital
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A person familiar with the situation says Titans quarterback Jake Locker has been released after spending the night in a hospital after injuring his hip.
The person says Locker was released before midday Monday. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the Titans have not updated the quarterback's status or condition since shortly after the game ended.
The Tennessean reported Monday that Locker will miss at least a month and will not need surgery.
Locker was admitted to St. Thomas Midtown Hospital on Sunday after being injured early in the third quarter of a 38-13 win over the New York Jets.
Titans coach Mike Munchak has a news conference scheduled Monday afternoon.
