Antifreeze Leak Ruins Students' Trip To Track Meet
AURORA, Ill. (WBBM) -- Athletes from Aurora Central Catholic High School never made it to their track meet Thursday, after an incident on the bus.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's Nancy Harty reports, athletic director Jeff Johnson it's still not exactly clear what happened on the way to the Seneca High School Invitational, but antifreeze was released on the charter bus following problems with the radiator.

Johnson says following protocol, the roughly 45 students and track team coaches on the bus were taken to the hospital to be evaluated.
"All of our kids are fine. They're back at the school this morning. Some of the book bags that they had on the bus were contaminated, and were kept by the hospital to be decontaminated," Johnson said.
Johnson says those bags are expected to be returned to students, and accommodations made for any missed homework.
