Another Car Crashes Into Building In Downtown Hinsdale
HINSDALE, Ill. (CBS) -- It's happened again in downtown Hinsdale; on Monday, for the third time in five weeks, a car crashed into a building on the same block in the historic downtown district.
WBBM Newsradio's Bernie Tafoya reports all three crashes happened on the 100 block of South Washington Street, which is on a hill.
On Monday, a 61-year-old woman crashed her car into the vacant building that used to house Zak's Place restaurant. She was ticketed for the wreck.
Toni Cox, who co-owns Toni Patisserie & Café down the street, said "it's very odd."

"I was concerned about our own business. I'm thinking 'one of these days, this could be our business,'" she said.
Jason Vogt, who manages a nearby bagel shop, said, "people, I guess … think they're parked, and then they go, I guess, push the ignition, and then go up the curb."
No one has been injured in the crashes, but Monday's wreck was the ninth time in the past 12 years that a car has crashed into a building on that block.
On Feb. 21, a car crashed into Steinway Piano Gallery at the northwest corner of Washington and Second streets. The driver in that crash said his car malfunctioned.
Two days later, another car crashed through the glass door of the same building.
