Angelo: Giants Will Provide A Good Test
(CBS) The Bears will return to the scene of the crime Monday in New York.
The crime was the offensive line allowing nine sacks against the New York Giants last season and even though this time around it will just be a preseason games, Bears general manger Jerry Angelo knows the Giants still boast a great defensive line and will pose a tough test for his team.
"Very much so. Particularly the kind of front we are going to see with the Giants," Angelo said on The Mully and Hanley Show." They run our scheme and their emphasis, like our emphasis, is to get up-field. So we're going to see a good pass rush and really that's what we need to see right now. We're still developing and evaluating players on our offensive line, particularly with the fact that we have four players playing new positions, though they have experience playing in our system, it's still a transition for them."

The Bears now have a revamped offensive and even though it hasn't been that impressive thus far during training camp, seeing how the first unit performs against the Giants' first unit Monday night might be a good barometer to see how much it has changed since last year's embarrassing performance in New York.
Asked earlier this week if he was excited to return to New York after what happened last year, Cutler said:
"I don't know about that. It's a preseason game so we just have to take it for what it is and do our job and hopefully we won't have a repeat of last year."
