Analyst: Tiger Woods Was An 'Embarrassment To The Game'
(WSCR) Tiger Woods may have won his first golf tournament in 30 months a few weeks ago, but he hasn't regained the respect of everyone surrounding professional golf.
Woods, who was expected to be competitive in the 2012 Masters, finished tied for 40th place at 5-over par. The former Masters champion let his frustrations show after a poorly-placed shot on the 16th hole when he kicked his club and yelled.
His actions didn't please former golfer and current analyst Paul Azinger.
"Tiger's antics this week were an embarrassment to the game, to the membership at Augusta," Azinger told Mad Dog Radio. "I was really disappointed to see him carry on that way. He's not trying to endear himself to anybody. And after he won Bay Hill I thought, 'here we go again, this is going to be Tiger just kicking butt and taking names.' I don't know. I thought he acted like the south end of a northbound mule."
