Amtrak Train Engine Catches Fire
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The engine of an Amtrak passenger train caught fire Wednesday south of Union Station.
Smoke was pouring out of the engine, which was stopped at Roosevelt and Canal.
The cause of the fire was not known.
Two people were sent to the hospital with smoke inhalation.
As of 4:22 p.m., Metra had not issued any advisories or delay notices for its trains heading to the west and southwest suburbs.
The fire was struck out around 4:30, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
