Alert Issued For Car Involved In Southwest Side Hit-Run
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police have issued an alert for residents of the Southwest Side to look out for a car that was involved in a hit-and-run accident a week ago.
About 3:50 a.m. on Oct. 9, a pedestrian was seriously injured when they were struck by a red 2-door Mazda hatchback near the intersection of Archer and Francisco avenues, according to the Chicago Police Major Accident Investigation Unit.
Police are circulating a Community Alert with a photo of a car similar to the 1994 Mazda involved in the accident.
If anyone sees a car matching that description they are asked to call investigators, at (312) 745-4521.
