Ald. Thompson Hospitalized After Collapsing At Music Festival
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Ald. JoAnn Thompson (16th) remained hospitalized Monday after collapsing the day before.
As WBBM Newsradio's Brandis Friedman reports, Fire Department officials could not say much, but Thompson was attending a music festival in the Englewood neighborhood when she apparently collapsed.
She was taken to Rush University Medical Center just before 8 p.m. Sunday, and has been listed in stable condition.
The music festival at 63rd and Peoria streets was hosted by Thompson's office. Her staff has not commented.
